Everything around the game

Practical notes for game day, development, expectations and the season. Start with the next session, then the channel the team actually uses.

New to the team? Start here

  1. Ask the manager for the Spond invitation and parent access.
  2. Sign-in on the old portal is only for families who already have access.
  3. Complete the forms the team or club specifically asks for. The mandatory list is still to be confirmed.
  4. Read expectations below and the kit page before ordering.
  5. Reply in Spond when attendance is requested. Add the calendar, then recheck invites — imports can go stale.
  6. Pack from the checklist. Confirm venue, arrival time and footwear before the first session.

Game day & training day

Before

Check date, start, status and venue together. Pack the night before. Leave time to find the right door or field.

Sideline

Cheer the whole team. Let coaches give the football instructions. Keep it calm for players, opponents and officials.

After

Let her tell you about the session first. Return borrowed gear. Update attendance if plans change next time.

Parent FAQ

How do I report an absence?

Reply in the Spond invite for that session. If the invite and this site disagree, message the manager with the event title and date before you travel.

What time should we arrive?

Use the arrival time in the invite when one is listed. The start time is not permission to arrive late. If arrival time is missing, ask the team.

Where is Tuesday training?

The Tuesday venue is confirmed in your Spond invite. Do not assume a previous week's field. The club office at 2 McKee Drive South is not a training venue.

Where is Wednesday training?

Wednesday sessions are at St Cornelius Gym, 6:15 p.m. The street address, entrance, parking and indoor footwear are in the invite.

Are games on the calendar yet?

Not yet. The published dates are training only, October 6, 2026 through May 18, 2027. Game dates will be added when announced.

How do we join or ask about fees?

Roster places, assessment dates and team fees are not published yet. Email girlsoccer@r5play.net or use the contact page. Parent sign-in is separate from joining.

Can I order kit myself?

Check with the manager before ordering. Use the SKUs on the kit page. Member pricing is for authorized families, and the order deadline is still to be confirmed.

What if weather looks bad?

A forecast does not cancel a session. Check the event status and the latest team message. At club fields, the thunder horn means leave for a vehicle or building.

Code of conduct

Players

  • Try, listen, and help a teammate.
  • Respect opponents, officials and each other.
  • Mistakes are part of learning. Stay in the game.

Families

  • No public comparisons and no sideline coaching over the staff.
  • Keep medical details, surnames and documents out of public messages.
  • Concerns go privately to a coach or manager.

Privacy & youth safety

This public hub uses first names and jersey numbers that families have already allowed. It does not publish birth dates, surnames, addresses or medical information.

Photos stay unpublished until consent is active. Withdrawing consent stops further public display. Email the team privately if something needs to come down.

Club links

Club events can apply to other programs. Confirm this team is involved before you add them.
